As Halloween approaches, Scarowinds, Churches, Hall Family Farm, and neighborhoods have been getting into the spooky spirit as they prepare for the night of Halloween October 31st.

It’s that time of year again time to pull out your Halloween decorations and spirit to take on the month of October. As you get prepared for the holiday many enjoyable attractions are set up and ready to take on the month of October.

Spooky season is here. As everyone prepares for the night of Halloween attractions and events are happening all over. Carowinds roller coaster theme park turns into Scarowinds, where haunted houses are open for exploring from October 4th- 27th where the workers dress up as monsters, ghosts, and clowns on the weekends from 7-12 am with the only intent to scare the people walking by them.

If you like being scared another haunted attraction is 901 nightmare, this is a 20 minute long haunted trail in the middle of the woods. Their hours are Friday-Saturday from 7:30-11:30 pm and Thursday-Sunday from 7:30-10:30 pm. along with many other reviews Shelia H rates the trail five stars and says “This was the best outdoor Halloween trail I have ever been too”.

If you’re not into scary attractions Hall Family Farm is a fun and safe environment for everyone. The farm has a five-acre corn maze, pumpkin picking, musical hayrides and sales tents for everyone to enjoy. These fall attractions are open to all from September 27th- November 3rd. Sunday- Thursday 9 am-6 pm, Friday-Saturday 9 am-10 pm. Alyssa Melendez says “My cheer team goes every year it’s such a good team bonding we love going”.

Churches are also getting into the Halloween spirit. The fort mill church of god is hosting a Trunk or Treat Sunday, October 27th from 5-7 pm.  the trinity baptist church is also hosting a trunk or treat but on Halloween night from 6-8 pm.

In the Bridge Mill neighborhood, almost everyone decorates their house but one family takes it to the next level. A family turns their garage into a haunted maze for trick or treaters and their families to go through.
