It’s that time of the year! Kids are ready to get out for Thanksgiving break but before that, Indian Land High School students are more excited about the Powder Puff game that is held on the last day before Thanksgiving break.

Powder puff is made for all girls of all grade levels to play each other in a game of flag football. It’s hosted by Mr. Colagross. He said that he has been doing powder puff for almost 6 years now, and when he got to Indian Land, he noticed that the school did offer powder puff games. He then decided to start one.

Each grade level plays each other. First its seniors versus freshman followed by juniors versus sophomores. For the last game, you have which grade levels that won play each other. It’s only $16 to join which includes a T-shirt with your grade year on it and it’s only a $1 to get in, and you miss a whole hour of your 4th block. All the money is raised to help with Indian Land High School prom.

“I’m super excited! It’s my last year so I’m going to make it my best,’’ said Raivyn Traps.  “Whoo I can’t wait!” yelled Destiney McCleod. Come on and support your classmates. Root for your grade level during 4th block on November 21st!
